Russian Business Day, a significant part of the 17th Harbin International Fair For Trade and Economic Cooperation, inaugurated on Jun 15. China and Russia Enterprises signed US$2.5 bln cooperation projects in the day.

32 projects at the sum of US$2,478 mln signed by Chinese and Russian enterprises, which the projects including fields of electro-machine, forestry, real-estate, mining industry and energy and chemical, etc.

State Councilor Chen Zhili expressed on the opening ceremony of Russian Business Day that China and Russia were the biggest neighbor country of each other, possessing 4,300km boundary and rich natural geographical advantages and development trend of cooperation on trade and economy between the two countries accelerated in recent years.

This session of Russian Business Day is a significant trade and economic activity of China& Russian Year and will provide favorable exchanging platform for enterprises of both countries. He expected friends from Chinese and Russian business circle could talk about cooperation freely and cheerfully, build business opportunity together.

The five-day Russian Business Day is sponsored by China Ministry of Commerce, People's Government of Heilongjiang and Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation, which attracts over 5,000 entrepreneur representatives and officials from Russia. During the Day, China and Russia will discuss cooperation on economy and trade, value-added timber processing, banking business and transportation in border area, etc in border areas.
